Cory Holland and 3 of his BFF’s purchased “Cobble Creek” back in the summer of 2003. Located on the Oyama Isthmus, right on the Okanagan Rail Trail, across from the beach – It has been “hair straight back” ever since! Cory and his wife Virginia, together with their three children, have been the sole proprietors since 2015. They’ve enjoyed their “Labour of Love” and feel very fortunate to service the great community of Oyama!

The Oyama General Store offers a wide variety of products and services associated with your typical corner Grocery/Convenience store … But we like to think we are so much more – Including a licensed rural liquor store and also an official Canada Post dealer.

We offer fresh homemade sandwiches and snack plates daily. Three flavours of soft ice cream and authentic “Slush Screamers.” Visit the OKF Grill, on our patio, for “Beach Infused” hot plates.

Formerly Sokal Rentals, our new SUP Board and E-Bike rental shop is located on the beach and is the unofficial “Hub of the Okanagan Rail Trail.” Launching from the beach shack Spring of 2021 our location is second to none!
